Boyle Heights, California (April 24, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after a rollover crash on Friday morning in Boyle Heights, authorities said.
The accident occurred at about 2:52 a.m., on April 23, on Interstate 5 northbound to the Interstate 10 west transition.
According to the officials, a vehicle was traveling on the roadway when it flipped over for undetermined reasons.
First responders arrived at the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in the wreckage.
The party was injured in the accident and was hospitalized for treatment.
Intoxication was suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
