6-Year-Old Boy and 28-Year Old Woman Killed in Cajon Pass Collision on Cajon Boulevard near Keenbrook Road

Cajon Pass, California (October 19, 2020) – A 6-year-old boy and a 28-year-old woman were killed in a four-vehicle accident on Sunday evening in Cajon Pass, authorities said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly accident transpired at about 5:15 p.m., on October 18, on Cajon Boulevard, just north of Keenbrook Road.
The CHP said a northbound blue Chevrolet Suburban crossed over the double yellow lines into the opposing traffic lane and crashed head-on into a silver Toyota Camry.
Furthermore, a grey Nissan Titan, which was traveling southbound on Cajon Boulevard, smashed into the Suburban as it rolled into the opposing lanes of traffic, the officials said.
A southbound white Ford F-150 reportedly crashed into the Camry.
Fatal 4-Vehicle Crash on Cajon Boulevard in Cajon Pass
The 6-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a passenger in the Suburban.
The 28-year-old woman who was the driver of the Camry was also pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Suburban, who was ejected from her vehicle, sustained critical injuries in the accident and was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center. The driver was later arrested at the hospital on charges of driving drunk and causing bodily injury.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
