84-Year-Old Man Killed in Campo Car Accident on Buckman Springs Road near Oak Drive
Campo, California (September 19, 2020) – An 84-year-old Boulevard man was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Thursday night in Boulevard, authorities said.
At about 8:40 p.m., on September 17, the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly accident on Buckman Springs Road near Oak Drive, east of Lake Morena.
The CHP said a 2000 Toyota Camry, driven by the Boulevard man, was headed southbound on Buckman Springs Road when, for unknown reasons, it veered off the roadway to the east near Oak Drive.
As per the officials’ report, the vehicle then struck a tree and overturned, ejecting the driver onto the roadway.

Sadly, the man sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
