One Killed in Bonsall Motorcycle Crash on I-15 and SR 76
Bonsall, California (October 20, 2019) – One person was killed in a motorcycle collision on Saturday evening in Bonsall, according to the authorities.,
The crash happened at about 6:20 p.m. October 19, near the I-15 and SR 76 merger.
Authorities said a Temecula teen was driving a 2010 Honda Pilot eastbound on SR 76 and trying to turn onto northbound I-15 when he collided with a 2008 Harley-Davidson traveling westbound on SR 76.
The impact ejected the rider and his passenger from the motorcycle.
Motorcyclist Killed in Bonsall Crash, October 19
The rider was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash while his 48-year-old female passenger was taken to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido for treatment.
The three occupants of the Honda were not hurt.
Authorities said alcohol and drugs were unlikely factors in the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
