Blythe Accident on Interstate 10 at Intake Boulevard Sends One Person to Hospital
Blythe, California (December 13, 2020) – One Person was hospitalized after being involved in a traffic collision Friday afternoon in Blythe.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash took place on Interstate 10 at Intake Boulevard shortly before 5:10 p.m. December 11.
As per the report, a small sedan was struck by a semi-truck on the interstate’s westbound side for unknown reasons.
The big rig reportedly overturned approximately 60 feet down the embankment upon the impact.
Major Injury Blythe Accident on Interstate 10
The wreck left one person with major injuries, including a broken left arm.
Meanwhile, the unidentified victim was flown to an area hospital for further medication.
The CHP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
