Santa Barbara, California (October 9, 2019) – A bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Santa Barbara on Tuesday evening.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 6:30 p.m. on Painted Cave Road near Highway 154.
The authorities said a 30-year-old Santa Barbara man was riding a bicycle on the roadway when he was hit by a northbound Toyota Prius.

The unidentified man was seriously injured in the crash and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The 70-year-old Santa Barbara man who was driving the Prius was unhurt.
