Contra Costa, California (July 25, 2021) – One person was seriously injured in a bicycle accident that occurred in Pittsburg, Contra Costa, on Saturday evening.
The bicycle accident happened on westbound Highway 4 near San Marco Boulevard at about 7:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A bicyclist was reportedly struck by a car on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
As per the CHP incident logs, one person was seriously injured in the crash and was transported to John Muir Walnut Creek Hospital for treatment.
