Oceanside, California (May 22, 2021) – A bicyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle early Saturday morning in Oceanside, according to the authorities.
The accident happened in the area of Oceanside Boulevard and Beverly Glen Drive shortly before 2 a.m.
According to the report, a man was riding a bike in the area when he was hit by a vehicle traveling westbound on Oceanside Boulevard.

The responding officers found an unresponsive victim lying west of the intersection. He was later pronounced deceased following the accident.
The driver who struck the bicyclist was placed under arrest.
The Oceanside Police Department is investigating the incident.
