Driver Seriously Injured in Berkeley Crash at Cedar Street and Sacramento Street
Berkeley, California (June 23, 2021) – A driver was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a traffic collision involving two vehicles at an intersection in northwest Berkeley, according to a local news source.
The two-car crash happened shortly before 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 22 at the intersection of Cedar Street and Sacramento Street.
As per the report, one vehicle was traveling southbound when the driver allegedly ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into another vehicle.
Photos from the crash site showed a dark-coloured Toyota Prius that hit a tree before it came to stop and a white Toyota Tacoma truck.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and provided medical aid to the parties involved. The medics determined that one of the drivers suffered broken bones and a possible concussion in the crash.
