Shafter, California (April 7, 2021) – The man who died Monday night following a traffic accident in Shafter has been identified as Bennie Foronda, 61, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Bureau.
The deadly crash occurred just before 11:30 p.m. Monday, April 5 at the intersection of 7th Standard and Zerker Roads.
A semi-truck reportedly slammed into a truck driven by Foronda.
The impact caused Foronda’s truck to overturn.
