Bay Point, California (October 3, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Bay Point on Thursday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle accident happened at about 8:18 a.m. on Highway 4 near San Marco Boulevard.
The authorities said a motorcycle was traveling on the roadway when it collided with an SUV for unknown reasons.

The impact of the collision caused the motorcycle to flip, throwing the rider into the No. 1 and 2 lanes.
The motorcyclist reportedly sustained major injuries in the collision and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
