Barstow, California (July 2, 2021) – One person was injured following a multi-vehicle collision in Barstow Friday morning, July 2.

A silver Toyota 4Runner SUV, a white Mercedes Benz GLK350, a silver Hyundai Tucson, and two other automobiles crashed on the Interstate 15 Freeway near Fort Irwin Road at approximately 9:25 a.m. 

The California Highway Patrol did not establish how the five vehicles crashed on the northbound side of the interstate.

At least one person sustained unspecified injuries following the collision.

The investigators are gathering more evidence to determine the cause of the accident.
