Barrett Junction, CA: Major Injury Rollover Accident on Highway 94
Man Seriously Injured in Barrett Junction Collision on Highway 94 near Barrett Smith Road
Barrett Junction, California (October 15, 2020) – A man was seriously injured in a rollover accident on Monday morning on a rural road northwest of Tecate in Barrett Junction, authorities said.
Shortly before 8:00 a.m., on October 12, the California Highway Patrol responded to the single-vehicle accident on Highway 94, east of Barrett Smith Road.
The CHP said a 2014 Honda Civic, driven by the man, was driving westbound on the highway when it lost control, went off the north side of the street east of Barrett Smith Road, overturned, and rolled down an embankment.

The man was airlifted to a hospital with major injuries.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
