Motorist Injured in Interstate 10 Crash near Haugen-Lehmann Way Off-Ramp in Banning Pass
Banning Pass, California (March 10, 2021) – A driver was injured in a single-vehicle traffic accident Wednesday morning in the Banning Pass near Whitewater, according to a local news source.
The crash, which was reported at around 11:00 a.m., happened on the eastbound side of Interstate 10, just west of the Haugen-Lehmann Way exit.
The California Highway Patrol said a Honda Civic was traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 when, for unknown reasons, it crashed into the center median.
As a result of the collision, the vehicle came to a rest on the roadway facing the opposite direction.
Minor Injury Crash on Interstate 10 in Banning Pass
The driver sustained minor injuries in the crash. It was not immediately known if the victim was hospitalized.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
