Man Killed in Banning Accident on 10 Freeway near Highland Springs Avenue
Banning, California (February 27, 2019) – A truck driver died following a traffic collision in Banning on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a local news source, the accident happened on Interstate 10 Freeway near Highland Springs Avenue at about 1:15 p.m. February 26.
The authorities said the 59-year-old man was driving a truck when his vehicle drifted across lanes for unknown reasons and collided with a Toyota Highlander.
The unidentified trucker sustained major injuries and was transported to a San Gorgonio Memorial Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
