Balthazar Donato Injured in Fatal 2-Car Crash on Highway 101 in San Ardo
Balthazar Donato ID’d as 1 of 2 Injured in Fatal San Ardo Crash on Highway 101 near Alvarado Road
San Ardo, California (February 3, 2021) – Balthazar Donato, 27, of Greenfield, has been identified as one of the two persons who were injured in an alleged DUI accident that killed a woman on Tuesday evening south of King City near San Ardo, authorities said.
The deadly two-vehicle accident happened at about 5:00 p.m., on February 2, on southbound Highway 101 near Alvarado Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2009 Lincoln, driven by Donato, swerved into the wrong lane and crashed into another vehicle, driven by Sabrina Lecce, 23, of Shandon, in unclear circumstances.

Sadly, Lecce sustained fatal injuries in the accident. One other passenger in Lecce’s sustained minor injuries in the accident.
The CHP said Donato was also hurt but arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
