3 Men and 3 Woman Hurt in Baldwin Park Violent Car Crash at Francisquito Avenue and Puente Avenue
Baldwin Park, California (May 18, 2019) – A total of 6 people were injured in a traffic accident that involved two cars in Baldwin Park early Friday morning.
The crash happened shortly before 1:01 a.m. May 17, near the intersection of Francisquito Avenue and Puente Avenue.
As per the reports, the accident occurred when a black Nissan Altima driven by a suspected burglar crashed into a white Porsche Cheyenne near the intersection after leading police on a pursuit from West Covina to Baldwin Park.
A total of six people were hurt in the crash, including two men and a woman who were the suspect’s vehicle. The woman was transported to a local hospital with severe injuries. The conditions of the two men and their names have not yet been released to this time.
The officials said that the unidentified burglary suspect tried to run after the crash, but his leg was too injured to get him very far.
Two women travelling in the Porsche sustained only minor injuries in the wreck.
Both vehicles sustained significant damages following the crash. They were removed from the scene by flatbed tow trucks.
The officials are still investigating the leading cause of the accident.
