Man Seriously Injured in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident at Wilson Road and Larson Lane Sunday night
Bakersfield, California (October 17, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle Sunday night in a Bakersfield intersection, according to authorities.
The accident took place at around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, October 13 at the intersection of Wilson Road and Larson Lane.
Authorities said the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at the Bakersfield intersection. Details of how the accident occurred were not immediately available.
The victim, an adult male, suffered major injuries and was treated at the scene by responding medical personnel before being taken to a local area trauma center. His name and current condition were not immediately disclosed.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The accident remains under investigation.
