Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident on Niles Street near Palm Drive Injures One Person
Bakersfield, California (February 8, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a suspected hit-and-run pedestrian accident that occurred in Bakersfield Wednesday evening.
The CHP responded to the crash site at about 6:50 p.m. in the 2000 block of Niles Street near Palm Drive.
An individual was reportedly hit by a vehicle whose driver escaped the crash site eastbound on Niles.

The pedestrian, whose name was not immediately revealed, sustained unspecified injuries following the February 3 accident.
Officials are still investigating to locate the suspect.
