Man Injured in Bakersfield Pedestrian Crash on River Road
Bakersfield, California (April 20, 2019) – A man was transported to a hospital after being involved in an auto-pedestrian collision on Friday night in Northeast Bakersfield, according to the CHP.
The incident took place at about 9:30 p.m. April 19, in the 2200 block of River Road.
CHP said a man was walking across River Road when he was hit by a brown sedan.
The driver of the sedan stopped after the incident. The victim was then struck by a second driver who left the scene.

The victim sustained major injuries in the crash and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
CHP said alcohol or drugs were unlikely factors in the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
