Bakersfield Collision on White Lane near Highway 99 Seriously Injures Male Party

Bakersfield, California (March 18, 2021) – A male party was hospitalized with major injuries after being hit by a vehicle Wednesday night in Bakersfield, the Bakersfield Police Department reported.
The major injury crash happened shortly after 8 p.m. on White Lane near Highway 99.
The pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while walking in the 2600 block of White Lane on March 17.

Paramedics transported the male party to an area hospital for treatment of major life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver was arrested and booked into the Kern County Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
