Man Hurt in Bakersfield Pedestrian Collision on Bernard Street and Mount Vernon Avenue

Bakersfield, California (March 23 2020) – A man was injured in an auto-pedestrian accident on Sunday evening in East Bakersfield, according to the authorities.

The crash took place shortly before 7:30 p.m. March 22, on Bernard Street and Mount Vernon Avenue.

According to the report, the man was trying to cross the intersection when he was hit by a vehicle that was on a green light.

The man was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

The driver remained at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.
