At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Bakersfield Car Accident on Highway 58 near Oswell Street Tuesday evening
Bakersfield, California (October 1, 2019) – At least one person was seriously injured Tuesday evening in a traffic accident in Bakersfield, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck took place at about 6:15 p.m. on Highway 58 near Oswell Street.
According to the CHP traffic incidents log, a van collided with a semi-truck on westbound on Highway 58.

At least one person sustained major injuries in the crash.
As of 6:45 p.m., traffic on westbound Highway 58 was backed up to Fairfax Road.
Further details were not immediately disclosed, and the crash remains under investigation.
