Injuries Reported in Bakersfield Semi-Truck Crash near South Edison and Herring
Bakersfield, California (California 23, 2019) – Injuries were reported in a crash involving a big rig on Sunday evening in Bakersfield, according to the CHP.
The crash happened at about 5:19 p.m. December 21, near South Edison and Herring roads.
CHP said the crash involved a semi-truck and a sedan. It’s unclear how the two collided.
Two people were extracted from the sedan by firefighters.

There were reports of major injuries. The number of those injured was unknown.
The cause of the crash is being investigated by the CHP.
