At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Bakersfield Car Crash on Highway 99 near Highway 119
Bakersfield, California (October 27, 2020) – At least one person sustained major injuries when two cars collided Monday night on Highway 99 in Bakersfield, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Authorities said the accident occurred at about 11:55 p.m. in the northbound lanes just south of Highway 119.

The vehicles involved, a Mercedes sedan and a BMW SUV, were blocking traffic lanes after the crash.
Paramedics and firefighters responded to the scene to find at least one person with major injuries. The victim sustained a possible broken wrist.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
