Bakersfield, California (June 9, 2021) – At least one person died in a semi-truck collision that happened Tuesday afternoon on a highway in Bakersfield, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported just before 2 p.m. on June 8, on Highway 119 at Old River Road.
Authorities said a semi-truck hauling potatoes collided with a sedan under unclear circumstances.
Both vehicles were blocking the roadway after the collision.
