One Killed in Bakersfield Pedestrian Crash on Edison Highway near Mount Vernon
Bakersfield, California (October 27, 2019) – One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian collision on Saturday night in East Bakersfield.
According to CHP, the crash happened at around 10:30 p.m. October 26, on Edison Highway just east of Mount Vernon.
It’s unclear how the incident happened.

An unidentified victim died in the crash.
A woman was taken into custody after the incident. It’s unclear whether the woman was involved in the crash.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the collision.
