At Least 1 Killed in Bakersfield Crash at Wheeler Ridge Road and Herring Road
Bakersfield, California (January 13, 2019) – At least one person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Saturday night south of Bakersfield, CHP said.
The incident happened at Wheeler Ridge Road and Herring Road shortly before 6 p.m. January 12.
CHP said a tractor-trailer and two other vehicles were involved.
Details on how the vehicles collided were not immediately available.
At least one unidentified person died as a result of the accident. It’s unclear whether there were other injuries.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
