Bakersfield, CA: DUI Crash on Meacham Road and Verdugo Lane
1 Injured in Bakersfield Car Accident on Meacham Road and Verdugo Lane
Bakersfield, California (September 30, 2019) – One person was injured Sunday night in a traffic accident in Northwest Bakersfield, according to the CHP.
The crash happened at about 6:59 p.m. Sunday, September 29 on Meacham Road and Verdugo Lane.
The California Highway Patrol said a black BMW collided with a vehicle of unknown type. The force of the impact caused one of the cars to slam into a nearby traffic light.
Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to one of the drivers who sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash.
A driver was arrested for DUI.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
