Bakersfield, California (June 24, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of an alleged hit-and-run accident that occurred in Bakersfield on June 22.
The two-vehicle collision was reported at about 4:45 a.m. on State Route 58 near the onramp to Highway 99.
As per the report, a gray Mazda crashed with a second vehicle on the highway for unknown reasons.

The crash left at least one unidentified person hurt.
Meanwhile, the second vehicle operator did not stop to render aid and escaped the scene.
The accident remains under investigation by the CHP.
