3 Hurt in Bakersfield Car Accident at Ashe Road and North Half Moon Drive

Bakersfield, California (October 14, 2019) – Three were hurt, one critically, after a traffic collision in Bakersfield Sunday morning, a local news source reported.
The two-vehicle wreck was reported at about 11:46 a.m. October 13, in the area of Ashe Road and North Half Moon Drive.
Authorities said a white Honda sedan was making a U-turn on southbound Ashe Road from the right shoulder of the road when it was hit by a gray Mitsubishi going south on Ashe Road.

The driver of the sedan who was identified as a female party suffered major injuries following the crash.
The victim was attended to by paramedics and then rushed to a hospital where she was listed in critical condition.
Two adult occupants riding the Mitsubishi were hospitalized with moderate injuries.
The identities and the current condition of the injured victims have not yet been released to this time.
The investigation is underway.
