Minor Injuries Reported after Bakersfield Accident on Highway 99 at California Avenue
Bakersfield, California (March 6, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a three-vehicle collision early Wednesday morning in Bakersfield, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at around 12:46 a.m. Wednesday, on southbound Highway 99 at California Avenue.
As per the report, three vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Authorities closed lanes 1 and 2 following the collision.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
