Baker, California (May 25, 2021) – A woman was seriously injured after a van crashed into the back of a semi-truck Tuesday morning in Baker, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck occurred at about 6:07 a.m. on Interstate 15.
CHP said the driver of a green semi-truck with a white trailer called authorities reporting that a white van crashed into the back of the semi.
First responders found a woman who occupied the van with major injuries. An ambulance was requested to the scene to take the patient to the hospital.
Debris from the crash was scattered in the No. 3 lane.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
