Authorities ID’d David Dalmau as Rider Seriously Hurt in Grass Valley Motorcycle Crash on Lower Colfax Road
David Dalmau Sustains Major Injuries in Grass Valley Motorcycle Accident on Lower Colfax Road
Grass Valley, California (October 29, 2020) – 34-year-old David Dalmau, of Grass Valley, has been identified as the victim who was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a motorcycle collision Tuesday morning in Grass Valley.
The major injury motorcycle accident occurred at about 11:00 a.m. on Lower Colfax Road near Karrys Place.
The mishap involved a Toyota 4Runner driven by 59-year-old Rebecca Schiros and a Kawasaki motorcycle operated by Dalmau southbound on Lower Colfax Road.
The initial report indicated that the Toyota made a left turn directly into the path of the Dalmau prior to the collision.

Due to the impact, Dalmau was ejected from his bike and sustained major injuries.
Medical personnel responded to the crash site and flown Dalmau to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for further treatment.
The accident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
