Austin Redden Arrested after Fatal Norwalk Crash on Rosecrans Boulevard

Norwalk, California (May 16, 2019) – Police arrested a driver following a fatal car accident that left one person dead and two others with major injuries on Monday afternoon in Norwalk.
According to a local news source, Austin Redden, 21, was taken into custody after the wreck that took place on Monday, May 13, on Rosecrans Boulevard near Elaine Avenue.
The authorities said Redden was driving an SUV when he lost control and slammed into a tow truck. The SUV reportedly flipped multiple times before coming to a rest on its roof.

A passenger in the SUV and was killed in the collision. Two other passengers were hospitalized with major injuries.
Redden was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving and impairment.
Police are investigating the collision.
