1 Injured in Auburn Car Crash at Lincoln Way and Oak Street
Auburn, California (March 24, 2021) – An Auburn police officer was injured in a crash during a pursuit in Auburn on Tuesday night.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the area of Lincoln Way and Oak Street at about 8:30 p.m.
The officer was reportedly chasing a suspect riding a dirt bike when he hit a curb and crashed into a wall.
A person at the scene pulled out the trapped officer from the wreckage before the vehicle caught fire.
The officer was transported to an area hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
