San Francisco, California (July 3, 2019) – A driver was arrested after one person died in collision on Monday afternoon at a San Francisco airport, according to the San Francisco police.
The incident took place at about 3:30 p.m. July 1, at the San Francisco International Airport.
Police said Athmane Oukal, 46, was driving a black Ford Expedition when he accelerated from a curb and crashed into three pedestrians on the arrivals section of the lower level into the international terminal.
The three victims, two men and a woman, were rushed to a hospital, where one male victim succumbed to his injuries. The other two victims were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

Oukal stayed at the scene and was arrested. He was booked into San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and driving at an unsafe speed.
The San Francisco Police Department is conducting an investigation into the incident.
