Ashley Holland Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Airport Drive near Roberts Lane in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (November 25, 2019) – 72-year-old Ashley Frank Holland has been identified as the man who died following a pedestrian accident that occurred in Oildale on Wednesday, November 20.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened at about 9:30 p.m. on Airport Drive near Roberts Lane.
Holland was reportedly walking in the area when he was hit by a car.
The pedestrian sustained major injuries and was transported to Kern Medical Center where he died two days later.
Information about the motorist was not immediately provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
