Ashley Burnham ID’d as Woman Killed in Inglewood Pedestrian Crash on 405 Freeway near Arbor Vitae Street

Inglewood, California (April 18, 2021) – Ashley Burnham, 37, of Inglewood, has been identified as the woman who was struck and killed by at least two vehicles on Saturday evening in Inglewood, the CHP said.
The deadly accident occurred at about 8:30 p.m., on April 17, on the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway west of Arbor Vitae Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Burnham was running from the center divider into the No. 1 lane of the southbound San Diego Freeway when a 1999 Land Rover Range Rover and then a 2015 Nissan Altima.

Sadly, Burnham was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
