Arturo Plancarte Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Accident on McKee Road

San Jose, California (July 19, 2021) – 79-year-old Arturo Plancarte has been identified as the male party who died after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning in San Jose, the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office said.
The fatal pedestrian accident happened on McKee Road near Jose Figueres Avenue at around 2:30 a.m.
Plancarte was between crosswalks on eastbound McKee Road when he was struck by a 2020 Subaru on July 14.
Arturo Plancarte Fatal San Jose Pedestrian Crash
Arturo died at the hospital while undergoing treatment for serious injuries sustained in the accident.
The involved Subaru motorist remained at the crash site and cooperated with the investigation.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
