Armando Hernandez ID’d as 1 of 3 Victims Killed in Fresno Car Accident at Maple Avenue and Mono Avenue
Fresno, California (September 12, 2020) –Authorities have identified one of the three victims who died following a two-vehicle accident in Fresno Thursday night as 10-year-old Armando Duran Hernandez of Fresno.
At about 8:15 p.m., September 10, officials responded to the deadly accident in the area of Maple Avenue and Mono Avenue.
The mishap happened when a silver BMW driven by 32-year-old Richard Blair-Rodriguez north on Maple Avenue, at a high-speed rate, veered off into the southbound side for unknown reasons. The BMW then crashed with a Hyundai that was operated by 26-year-old Zaira Lamas.

Lamas and her passengers, Hernandez, died in the wreck.
Blair-Rodriguez was also declared dead at the scene.
A woman, riding in the Lamas’ vehicle, was hospitalized with major injuries.
An investigation into the fatal accident is underway.
