Pedestrian Killed in Arden-Arcade Hit-and-Run Crash on Rio Linda Boulevard near Las Palmas Avenue
Arden-Arcade, California (October 11, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Saturday night in Arden-Arcade, Sacramento County, according to police.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, October 10, on Rio Linda Boulevard near Las Palmas Avenue.
Police said a man was hit by a vehicle on the roadway for unknown reasons.

First responders arrived at the scene and found the man unconscious on the roadway as a result of the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver involved did not stop to render aid to the victim and fled the scene. There was no description of the suspect’s vehicle or the driver.
Police are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
