Applegate, California (July 20, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car crash near Applegate in Auburn on Monday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened along the eastbound lanes of the 80 Freeway near Applegate Road at about 5:37 p.m.
An SUV is reported to have collided with a big rig for unknown reasons.
The officers who responded to the incident said at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to Sutter Roseville for treatment.
