48-Year-Old Man Hurt in Apple Valley Bicycle Crash at State Highway 18 and Bass Hill Road

Apple Valley, California (September 6, 2019) – A homeless man was injured in a bicycle collision on Thursday morning in Apple Valley, according to a local news source.
The wreck happened at about 5:41 a.m. September 5, on State Highway 18 and Bass Hill Road.
According to the authorities, a 48-year-old transient of Apple Valley was riding a bicycle southbound on Highway 18 when he was hit by an eastbound 2009 Chevy Cobalt.
Rider Injured in Apple Valley Bicycle Collision
The rider was airlifted to Loma Linda University for treatment of unknown injuries.
The driver of the Chevy was unhurt and stayed at the scene.
The Apple Valley Police Department is investigating the incident.
