Several Hurt in Apple Valley Car Accident on Waalew Road near Central Road
Apple Valley, California (June 5, 2019) – Several people were hurt in a head-on collision on Tuesday afternoon in Apple Valley, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
The wreck happened at about 2:37 p.m. June 4, on Waalew Road west of Central Road.
Deputies said a 2001 Honda Accord was traveling westbound on Waalew Road when, for unknown reasons, the driver drifted into the eastbound side and collided head-on with an oncoming Chrysler Town & Country van.
6 Hospitalized after Apple Valley Head-On Crash
The man driving the Honda was flown to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
Two adults and three children riding in the van were transported to local hospitals for treatment of minor injuries.
The identities of the involved parties were not released.
The crash remained under investigation.
