Antonio Navarrete ID’d as Suspect Arrested after Fatal Irvine Car Crash on Main Street and Culver Drive
Irvine, California (August 24, 2020) – Antonio Calixto Navarrete, 40, of San Clemente, has been identified as the suspect who was arrested after a suspected DUI crash that killed a 20-year-old woman on Saturday night in Irvine, police said.
The fatal two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Main Street and Culver Drive, at about 8:46 p.m., on August 22.
A witness told the authorities that a black Hyundai Elantra collided with a white Ford F-150, driven by a Navarrete, at the intersection.

The 20-year-old woman was transported to Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana, where she was pronounced dead. She was a passenger in the Hyundai.
Navarrete fled the scene of the crash and was later arrested on suspicion of hit and run, DUI and murder.
