Injuries Reported in Antioch Car Accident on Highway 4 near Somersville Road
Contra Costa, California (August 2, 2020) – Injuries were reported in a car accident on Sunday morning in Antioch, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident was reported at about 6:55 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Highway 4 near Somersville Road.
A Lexus sedan and a second sedan were involved in the collision. Although the manner in which the collision occurred was yet to be established, the impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles to overturn in the slow lane.

As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the crash and was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
