Anthony Monterroza Killed in Car Accident on New Skyway near Pentz Road in Magalia
Magalia, California (April 6, 2021) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of a man who was killed in a car accident in Magalia on Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on New Skyway just past Pentz Road at about 4 p.m. April 5.
A vehicle is reported to have drifted off the roadway for unknown reasons and rolled down about 60 feet where it struck a tree.
23-year-old Anthony Monterroza, of Manteca, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
A second person was transported to the hospital for treatment of moderate to major injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
