Anthony Beckett Jr. Killed in Palmdale Accident on Antelope Valley (14) Freeway
Palmdale, California (January 7, 2020) – 42-year-old Anthony Beckett Jr. has been identified as the Lancaster man killed after a pedestrian accident early Saturday morning in the area of Palmdale, according to authorities.
The deadly crash was reported at around 1:11 a.m. January 4, on the Antelope Valley Freeway, just north of Barrel Springs Road.
As per the CHP officials, a northbound 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix crashed into another car for reasons still under investigation. The Pontiac came to a halt in the slow lane after the accident.
Beckett, a Pontiac passenger, exited the car along with the Pontiac motorist and another passenger. The three stood on the shoulder of the roadway. It was reported that a third car then struck Beckett.
The impact threw Beckett over the bridge abutment and into the waterway.

Beckett suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
