Victorville, California (August 7, 2019) – 39-year-old Annamarie Johnson of Victorville has been identified as the victim killed in a traffic collision in Victorville on Friday evening, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff officials report.

The deadly crash was reported at about 10:50 p.m. August 2, at Village and Oceanside roads.

Johnson was hit by a vehicle of unspecified built while crossing the road at the intersection for unknown reasons.

Johnson sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash. She was transported to a local area hospital, where she tragically pronounced dead at precisely 12:09 a.m.

It was not clear whether or not the motorist stopped after the crash and cooperated with the officials’ investigation.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the cause of the accident.
